‘KONA’ [jamais vu]

KONA는 이태원에서 활발하게 활동하고 있는 DJ/프로듀서이자 하우스/테크노 플랫폼 텍스처스(textures.)의 디렉터이다. 두 차례 발매된 BOOTCAMP 컴필레이션을 통해 자신의 트랙들을 선보였던 KONA는, 이번 첫 EP를 통해 그녀만의 세계에 대한 이야기를 풀어나간다.

미시감, 평소 익숙했던 것들이 갑자기 생소하게 느껴지는 현상을 뜻하는 단어 'jamais vu'를 타이틀로 택한 점에서도 알 수 있듯이, KONA는 알고 있던 것들에 대한 낯설음을 마주하고, 받아들이는 과정을 세 트랙으로 이루어진 EP를 통해 담아낸다. 피처링진은 많은 이들에게 사랑 받고 있는 독보적인 아티스트 소금(sogumm)과 프로듀서, 싱어송라이터 등 다양한 포지션을 소화하는 아티스트 수민(SUMIN), 그리고 biscuit häus 크루 소속으로 따뜻한 음색을 지닌 아티스트 쟈드(Jade)로 이루어졌다.

앨범 아트워크와 뮤직비디오는 스타일링 뿐만 아니라 다양한 영역에서의 디렉팅을 보여주고 있는 지세윤, 뮤직비디오는 색감과 영상으로 활발하게 활동하고있는 MUNCHIZ와 작업으로 만들어졌으며, 최근 발매한 트랙 "Good Time"으로 존재감 있게 등장한 루키 OBON이 등장했다.
